WHY uTurn?

What makes us different?

• We work on both an international and local stage

  Focusing on social issues that vary anywhere from helping small villages with social issues, to coming up with solutions to help break down cultural ignorance. We believe that in order to solve any problem you must come up with a solution that pierces at the core.

• We provide an avenue for many individuals to complete intern or volunteer hours

  Contributing to the numerous tasks at hand such as helping in our communication department, project planning sessions, or assist in event set up/ take down

• Believe in growth

  Whether you want to practice job skills, move up within the organization, contribute to a greater cause or advocate we encourage everyone.

• Providing summer students with job training

  Every summer we offer students a chance to work with us and learn the skills and requirements needed in a professional work place. We provide them with training in various fields such as communication and marketing, problem solving, project management, and advocacy.

• Volunteer

  If you are wanting to volunteer with the uTurn Project during our special events please send your resume and cover letter to info@uturnproject.net. We have been privileged to have volunteers who have constantly gone above and beyond in order to make sure each assignment is a success.
